Nathan Gleyses Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Call for participants Study: “What we believed in and fought for”: a general history of the skinhead subculture on the island of Ireland (1960s - 2000s) Hi everyone! My name is Nathan Gleyses, I am a Master student at UCC’s School of History. I am conducting a research project on the theme of the skinhead subculture in Ireland, and I want to hear about your experiences in the culture. If you were a skinhead, male or female, between the emergence of the trend in the late 60s to the late 2000s, and are willing to share your story and make the research march on, please contact me! Your testimony is valuable information to better understand the skinhead movement in Ireland. Where were you hanging out? What did you listen to? What was it really like to be a skinhead in Irish society? Make your voice a part of this history! Punks, Emos, Rockers and the likes: don’t feel left aside! If you feel your testimony could help me understand the skinhead subculture better, don’t hesitate to contact me. Interviews will take place either on campus at University College Cork or online, via Microsoft TeamSpeak. Interested? Contact me by email: 125112856@umail.ucc.ie This study is being supervised by Dr. Oisín Wall of UCC. Quote
